Celebrity Softball Weekend ROUND TWO is coming in August! This is Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence’s second-annual fundraiser that brings together local celebrities for a (friendly) battle on the softball field! We are proud to welcome back the Grandstand Glassware + Apparel “Growlers,” and beyond excited to introduce the CEK Insurance “Bat-titudes.”
The teams will compete for two trophies: the Celebrity Softball Champions Trophy will be awarded to the team that wins the game, and the Champions of Great Futures Trophy will be awarded to the team that raises the greatest amount of funds for Boys & Girls Club!
We kick off the weekend on Friday, August 5 with the Fanfest Fundraiser!! This silent auction and party will take place at Maceli’s from 7-10 p.m. on Friday, August 5. The big showdown happens Saturday, August 6 at Arrocha Ballpark in Rock Chalk Park and will begin at 12 p.m. Tickets are on sale now!
