2019 Junior Youth of the Year

Before they make it big on the Lawrence Youth of the Year stage, our Club kids get to experience the program at a condensed level – Junior Youth of the Year.
All Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence members, 10-13 years old, have the opportunity to be nominated as the Junior Youth of the Year candidate for their Club location, based on showing good character, having a positive attitude, participating in Club events and having academic success. Each candidate will present a one-page speech to the audience about why Boys & Girls Club is important in their lives.
The Junior Youth of the Year winner will deliver their speech at the 2019 Youth of the Year ceremony on Jan. 31.
