Best advice you have ever gotten from a Club kid:
“I get a lot of fashion advice from the Club kids. When I worked with the teens after college, a 13-year old told me, ‘You wear too much eye makeup’ one day. I also had a 12-year old tell me, ‘Marriage is just an anchor to hold you down.’”
What makes Boys & Girls Club special:
“Boys & Girls Club is a special place because the adults learn just as much from the kids as the kids learn from us. Without even realizing it, my kids have taught me resiliency and that a good sense of humor is key to overcoming life’s challenges.”
